Steeplechasing has taken place at Stratford Racecourse since
1755. Nowadays, the racecourse has 15 meetings a year, most
of which take place within the summer months. Equipped with
a new glass-fronted Grandstand (opened in 1997) and has won
a major award for the care of the racetrack. The racecourse
is amongst the top flight of Britain’s smaller courses.
