Description:
This narrow, stone-fronted town house from the late Victorian age is a culinary oasis. It's owned and operated by French-born Bernard Lignier, who does the cooking, and his English wife, Jane, who supervises the dining room. The a la carte menu changes every 2 months and might include such offerings as terrine of wild duck with foie gras and truffles, and a dessert specialty known as an assiette (plate) of chocolates.
